WalesAles - 2 Can Coopers Stout 6.6%

Post by BarnsleyBrewer » Sat Sep 19, 2015 10:36 am

Hi WalesAles,
After the recent homebrew festival had finished and time to clear up I found one of your bottles lying around so I took it home because it looked lonely and needed somebody to love it again, and it was up to me to provide that loving home, I was chosen from above.

Anyway, I had it last night.. :D
Wow, this was one of the best stouts I've ever had, all the way down the glass to the very bottom I couldn't believe that I was drinking a brew from dare I say? tins This brew was top drawer regarding quality and without the homebrew "twang" I remember from 30 years ago.

Quick question if I may? Is this just 2 tins poured in with double yeast or did you add a few other ingredients to achieve such a fine drink??
Might have a dabble with this.. =D>

Did I chat to you at the festival?

Was there a head on this when you poured? Mine always came out flat. Hence the syringe! :D

I don`t know if I spoke to you at the Festival. There was lots of FREE beer there!

I believe it had SS written on the lid...or mine does anyway, will chuck it in the fridge and get it opened.

If it was brewed in November I suspect all this time in the bottle has made a huge difference?

Think it did on a gold cap in a clear glass Stella cidre bottle??

I had mine slightly chilled Kyle.
