Beer Club - Beer 52

Post by laithclark » Thu Oct 29, 2015 11:34 pm

There are an increasing amount of Beer Clubs appearing now so I thought I would dive in and see what it was all about. I recently ordered from Beer 52 but I will be trying others too soon! Just for comparison purposes obviously!
You can read my review in full here: http://bit.ly/1Gzv4PL

But if you just want to go direct to their website here's the link: https://www.beer52.com/

Plus there is an offer on at the moment to get two free bottles with your first order!

I was bought a years subscription by my son as a present. Have to say I was not overly impressed. A couple of times I got a repeat of the previous months box. To be fair to company they did give me an extra box to compensate but that was another repeat. I also found the beers to be very much of a muchness, most being over hopped and unbalanced IMO. I declined to renew the subscription.

I've just Signed up for a 3 month subscription to give it a try.

Dennis I think there is a new feature which allows you to choose styles of beer.

Fair enough comment, I also think some of the beers are massively over hopped but some people really like them like that. I guess that's the beauty of beer but when the box turns up you'd like to like all of them

Hi,

Anyone yet to subscribe can use this link to save £10 off their first order https://www.beer52.com/ receiving 10 beers (when you choose to add 2 extra free beers) for £14 which is good value. After you have received the order they do a retention offer so that if you try to cancel you can receive another £10 off your second month.

I have been subscribed for the last 6 months. But do intend to stop it soon as £3 a beer is rather pricey.

I have not had any issues with duplicate boxes and do enjoy receiving them each month as I love variety in the beer that I drink and through beer52 have tried beer styles that I had yet to have before such as Berliner Weiss, Gose and Belgium Black IPA. It does come with a reasonable beer magazine too with a page which gives details of the beers included in your box.

I will definitely give some of the other beer clubs ago, if they are offering incentives to new members.

I have no objection to people posting a link to beer-related websites, but please don't add your own hidden referral links to forum posts - it just results in a proliferation of links from people trying to get free beer by having others sign up through their link.
