Sierra Nevada otra vez

Post by Fastline » Tue Sep 06, 2016 10:06 pm

We'll never tried this style of beer, think it's a gose beer.
Don't think I'll try another, struggling to drink it

I'm not sure if there's something wrong with it or this is how it's supposed to taste

Like salt water mixed with strong cider is my best way of describing it

Anyone else familiar with this style or this beer

I should have put this in the wish I hadn't bothered section

I wasn't too impressed with that one either, I'm fairly sure most craft gose beers have too much salt/other crap in them. It should also be really sour, like a traditional lambic level , so it's not going to be for everyone even when done right

I had a Kernal raspberry sour the other night. I poured it away. Was awful stuff. Call me an uncultured so and so. But I really don't get sour beers.

Well I couldn't drink it, had a mouthful, then 4 or 5 sips, couldn't work out if it was supposed to taste the way it did or something was wrong with it

Thought crossed my mind was it the line cleaner I was drinking, but limited research on the matter seems to be that's its a very very acquired taste

Not one I would recommend
