Air lock bubbling
Re: Air lock bubbling
I was going to ask the same question here.
I am doing my final extract kit before moving to AG and decided to rehydrate my yeast before pitching it. My beer has been in the FV for nearly 3 weeks now and it's still bubbling. (Approx 1 every 30-40 seconds). I have not taken a gravity reading yet as I thought the different way i pitched the yeast had extended the fermentation time and that's why it is still bubbling. I've not experienced any suck back but I did get such a vigorous initial fermentation that it blew the star san out of the bubbler and I had to fit a blow off tube !
