Have I got these weights and measures right?

(That's water to the rest of us!) Beer is about 95% water, so if you want to discuss water treatment, filtering etc this is the place to do it!

Have I got these weights and measures right?

Any chance one of you kind folks could check my calculations of weights and measures for my water treatment? Just wanted to double check to save on potential disaster.

If I need to use 0.4 pints per 36 imperial gal, does that equal 31.94 ml per 23 litres?

If I need to use 5 oz per 36 imperial gal, does that equal 19.96 grams per 23 litres?

TIA

I made the second one 19.92 g / 23 L but apart from that I agree 8)

I suppose it depends on how many decimal places you carry forward when calculating down. 19.92 grams, 19.96 grams, all the same to me, :) my digital scales don't measure 100ths of a gram anyway :=P :)

At least I've got the decimal points in the right places, that was my main concern.

Thanks
