AAARRGGH !!!! every time I read one of these I get different info on how much spraymalt to add to how much water. Yesterday I pitched a vial of Irish yeast into 1 litre of water and 100 of spray malt grams and nothing much happened. Its in the wort now so I will have to wait and see.

I am just about to build another starter for tomorrows TTL. I have the Wyeast's Yorkshire Yeast and am about to add my last 135 grams of spraymalt to water but cant figure out how much water to use.

Help !!! ](*,)

That's the right ratio - 10:1

Chris White recomends that you don't go over 1.012 for a starter.

There are valid scientific reasons for this but as they are only looking for a problem to solve I won't go into them.
