Just come across this and haven't seen it posted elsewhere.

It started with kits to save money and now look........!!!

Lots of kit, too many ingredients and not enough time, but a patient wife.... who loves my beer...........

Could be worse :-)

It's certainly cheap for what it purports to be!

ace brew machines have a loyal following over on thbf, they seem to be Very good vfm but have a few 'features' too imho the controller position isnt the best suited for floor level brewing unless you like getting on your knees ;) that alone would be a deal breaker after a few brews with my knees ;)
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(

It looks like you're meant to tx to the FV via the tap, so you'd have to have it raised from the ground. I much prefer the GF arrangement of pumping through the CFC, which means I can brew at ground level with the HLT raised above. I suppose you could still pump to the FV via the recirc pipe, but as you say you then need to get on your knees every time you want to access the control panel.
Best wishes

Dave

I stand mine on an old chair. It's solid as a rock so no danger of falling over. Fill by gravity into fermenter and access to control panel is easy :D
Cracking piece of kit

Cheers. Tom
