The Hangover

Post by Berk » Sun Jul 16, 2017 3:07 pm

Today I'm doing first brew in a long time, and my 12th all grain brew.

It's loosely based on a hopback summer lightning recipe, and is being called The Hangover because that's how I'm feeling right now (still).

5.7kg pale malt
0.3kg crystal 150

50g Challenger 60 min
16g EKG 10 min
16g EKG flame out

Mashed at 66°c for 60min

I got 30l in to the boiler at 1.054, expecting 27l out at about 1.058 maybe.

I don't think I've forgotten anything and I even remembered to make sure that the taps were closed on the kettle and mash tun! My garage is currently smelling rather nice.
