This event will take place at The Waterfall, Derby on Saturday 5th April.
Why not try entering one or more of your beers; the 1st prize is a chance to brew a batch of your own beer on the pilot plant at Roosters Brewery.

We have booked a twin room at the Legacy Aston Court Hotel. Its about 500 yards from the venue. We paid £59 each for B&B for two nights

is this a good thing for people who want to get into AG or is it just for people already doing it?

The majority of brews will be AG and since you get to drink'em after judging, you can sample the quality you can make. You can also speak to brewers about questions you have. I felt nervous to do this at first, but really I think something craft brewers like to do is talk endlessly about brewing - I do. Even if you only go for a beery afternoon, I don't think you'll be dissappointed. Lots of tasty beers :beer: .

I'm also hoping to get my 6 bottles there for the first time.
Never entered this sort of thing before. 8-[

We will leave York about 6.30pm so should be in the bar for 8. There is a pub crawl planned but I dont know who's organising that yet.

Gotta get home life sorted for the Friday first. Hoping to be there 6pm if all good. Get the beer into place then looking forward to seeing what Derby has to offer!
