i dont think you need to worry too much about it. patch it with gaffer tape

I have been thinking of getting this boiler.
Has anyone got any experience of it? any comments on quality, reliability etc?

I quite like the Kelvin scale, but generally for day to day things stick with Celsius

Have you tried all grain brewing before? as you don't need to spend a fortune to try it, then if you decide you want to continue you can buy lots of shiny things.

i use a 15mm right angle copper joint with a stub of 15mm pipe, long enough to rotate and get near the bottom of the bucket.
i jam it into the internal diameter of the bottling tap with a bit of ptfe tape to make a seal/keep it place.

just wondering, as some camping stoves you can do this in cold weather, but these stoves also have a pre heat tube, which turns the liquid into gas.

that silver bubble wrap isnt very good insulation used on its own, and it is no way anything like 33mm of polystyrene, probably more equivalent of 4mm of bubble wrap.

Pots often have different metals on the base compared to the sides.
