Re: Co2 supply/refill Aberdeen Dundee area
When I was first looking for gas I phoned up BOC in bridge of don and they told me they couldn't give me any because it was for businesses only and not for home use.

Re: Coolbox Bar
Ha ha great spot on the Taylor guitar =D> Unlike yourself I don't have a keggorator so this is my only way to dispense,I usually only brew to 19 litres and I bottle the other half using a Blichman beer gun. If you have any joy finding a cooler that fits 2 kegs and dosent cost a fortune give me a sho...

Re: Coolbox Bar
I like the gas set up using the soda stream bottle do you need a special adaptor for the regulator or does it fit straight in. This is what I use using the same 16g bottle regulator as yourself.I half fill the cool box with water and use frozen 500ml water bottles to chill it down.I put 3 in an hour...

Re: Coops Pale Ale
The fruitier the better ha ha.I have brewed this one up for a mates party in 6 weeks time and I would of normally of had some chinook or Simcoe to give it some pine but they are all lager drinkers and I'm hoping this fruit bomb will convert them,if not all the more for me

Baby Squid Assassin
Hi...I brewed this up yesterday and it's bubbling away nicely.Im quite partial to a tin or 3 of brew dogs albino squid assassin and at 7.5% it's quite a strong one so on seeing them publish their recipes I couldn't wait to brew a clone but take the percentage down a couple of points. I upped the rye...

Re: Cornie keg fermenters
Hi...I ferment in cornies.I have 2 dedicated cornies with about a 1 and a half inch cut of the dip tubes to sit above the yeast cake in the bottom. I can fit 2 cornies in my fermenting fridge so I do 2 17 litre brews at a time so I usually end up with 15 litres of beer out of each one,as was mention...

Re: Chill Haze with Safale US-05 Yeast
I used to get chill haze like that and now I use a vial of clarity ferm in each batch and it has disappeared.
You should give it a try your next batch and I'm sure your beer will stay like the one on the left when chilled, mine does now.
The Malt Miller sells them in his yeast section.
