Re: Peracetic acid: Is yours stored safely?
Might lob it in a black bag full of cat litter then. Next bin day make it gone and not my issue. However it's a city so unlikely to discharge into the river without treatment.

Re: Peracetic acid: Is yours stored safely?
Hi there,
I'm going to assume that the PA I have isn't stored safely and, as we don't use it professionally, I would like to dispose of it (I do own StarSan and other cleaning and sterilising agents). What is the safest way to do so, or is it a down the drain in the dark in the alley job?
Cheers!

3 keg fridge/freezer?
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a fridge or freezer that will hold 3 Cornelius kegs on the inside with CO2 on the outside. I plan on running the beer through to a 3 tap font. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Many thanks,
CJR

Look forward to it mate, unless this thread merges with your "Ever sh*t on your own balls?" one to become "Ever sh*t in your own stout?"
It is a thing of beauty though, the blue touch paper of kit beer.

What is the best way to start a wild hop reserve? There is an area nearby below a huge wall which I think could be great for wild hops.

Re: Question about beer lines for cornies
You need a low serving pressure and a long beer line. There is an equation for length and pressure needed. Do use a secondary regulator in your line. Only a primary regulator is a lot harder to calibrate. Contact a drinks wholesaler and you can probably get a decent size bottle of CO2 quite cheap. A...

I think that is the idea. I believe is the conundrum is more is it worth bringing cling film into the mix?berts wrote:I don't know why but I have not had spewing problem with my fv but after spew could you not replace cling film with a new piece .

Re: " Ditch's Stout " Master Class .....
Well Ditch, I must say that when I make Stout in one of them my spew comes up through the hole in the lid, runs down the side and is caught in my spew-trug. The area is then wiped up and re-covered. It also all comes down one side enabling spew-sterilisation measures to be concentrated on one area.

Re: " Ditch's Stout " Master Class .....
Just remember to throw the first inch or so away. More sterile that way, or at least that's the advice given about using cling film for burns/scalds. I suppose it applies here too.
