Chris, If I was doing this brew, I would add 1Kg Light Malt Extract at the start of the brew. There are 3 types, light, medium and dark. You decide which one to use depending on the beer style. I would advise you to mix it up in the FV with an electric drill and a plasterers whisk ( it`s hell using ...

What difference do you anticipate between adding the hops today rather than in four days? cwrw, No difference whatsoever. 50gr dry hop cascade on day 7 might make a difference! :D Though you were going AG Wales?? BB, I can`t do AG! :D Too much faffing about, doing this, watching that, etc.............

20Lts Tesco basic Apple Juice 3 mugs tea, 4bags each. 3tsp Yeast, 3tsp Nutri OG 1040 Batch prime 150gr sugar. 1.5Lts Tesco Summer Fruit Cordial added at priming stage. FG 1000 Bottled 3/7/19 Tasted today, BLM! =D> What a lovely pint. 3hrs in the fridge, poured nice, good fizz (in the correct glass)....

By the way, this is a Chinook IPA instead of my usual Citra - and by comparison its rank. I've read, since buying this chinook from a forum member, that one of the descriptors for Chinook is 'dank' - close! Used it in the previous brew (Arogant Bastard clone) and didn't like that either.
