DDoe,
Good Luck on the Brew! =D>
If you use `The Malt Miller` for your ingredients, you can specify exactly what you need
and you won`t have any leftovers to bag up.

Re: Homebrewing

Welcome to JBK.
Try this calculator for priming.......https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/priming ... alculator/

I made a Coopers Stout two weeks ago and used 50gr sugar batch prime.
All my Stouts have had 50gr sugar priming and they all came out fine.

Happy Brewing! :D

Re: Murtons gold pilsner 2 can kit

Bacc,
Both cans have the same contents.
I would use the damaged can (if it`s not leaking).
The supplier is telling you to bin it to be on the safe side.

Re: Murtons gold pilsner 2 can kit

Baccinio,
What damage to the kit?
Send it back to the supplier.
If you want to use one can, only add 500gr light spraymalt and brew to 10lts.
I`ve never tried a 3 can brew (surprisingly) so I can`t advise you on that.

And what's the turkey baster for?

Guy
Guy,
It is used to Baste Turkeys!

Also used for filling the trial jar.
And putting beer on the sugar in the saucepan when batch priming.

Re: Fermentation Finished

ben, OG of 1.0175? Is this a misprint? WA Yes! Sorry Hydrometer sample just before draining to fermentation bucket was 1.070 I've recently stared using a Float digital hydrometer - the first reading i got from that was a few hours later and it showed 1.075 I've put an extra number in there by mista...
