Re: Ducting Slope - Up or Down?
I used a similar setup for my 100L stockpot system. I ran the tubing up but even with a larger fan and insulated tubing I get terrible problems with condensation. Will have to look into condensate drains.

Re: CO2 in Uxbridge area (W-London/Middx)
I use Mr Fizz. Haven't found anything better in London (although I haven't looked hard). I've always found them really easy to deal with and once you've paid the initial cost they're pretty reasonable and will even let you switch between sizes if you need to, for free.

Re: Serving pressures?
Use the same chart to work out the serving pressure (any lower and it will 'lose condition'/become less fizzy). To get a good pour you need to balance your lines so that the pressure at the tap is low. BeerSmith have a good article on this: http://beersmith.com/blog/2011/07/14/keg-line-length-balanc...

Re: Homebrew Labels
To get them printed I went with a printer who prints for microbreweries: http://www.directlabelsuk.com/ who gave me the best quote when I was asking around. This was for 600 labels in total. Took this advice and tried DirectLabels UK. I bought 150 as a trial run... they've just bought a new small b...

Re: Homebrew Labels
Thanks for the info, I am based in London but have also had good experience with university printing companies. Imperial College is my closest so it's worth looking into if you need printing... sure UCL will have one near TCR too.

Re: Homebrew Labels
I love the designs! All the other ones too. Not cheap but not expensive considering the quality you get. Did you get 3 label designs? How does it work if you want more in the same style. Can you edit them yourself? Well impressed though. I provided three names as examples as well as some copy for t...

Re: Homebrew Labels
So far I haven't had them professionally printed. I just used my inkjet and some Pritt Stick. Having had a brief look the first price I've found is £40 for 100 printed and cut on adhesive paper. If you don't mind cutting them out I'm sure you could have the professionally laserjet printed from ~£5 f...

I guess this counts as equipment... http://i.imgur.com/P3rwpVb.jpg Although I went straight to kegs I've always bottled some of my batch both to give away but also to keep and try at different ages. Most of these bottles are recycled from commercial brews with a duct tape label! Not exactly in keepi...

My current saison is 63% bohemian floor malted pilsner and it's brilliant! 18% Vienna, then rye, wheat and buckwheat in equal enough quantities.

Re: Removable Perlick flow control mounted direct on keg
I have flow control taps on my tower. They can't fix all problems, they just give you some leeway with regards to line balancing. I have seen something that you drop in the corny out tube that will help. Never found out where it was from but it looks like the plastic 'mixer' that you find in t part ...

Re: hop rockets
From my experience it replaces the steep hops. It also has the advantage of acting as an additional filter which is useful if you have a plate chiller.
The Blichmann one can also be used as a RIMS vessel if you get the RIMS Rocket adapter although I haven't seen then in Europe yet.

The handles screw off. I think some of the other normal places sell them with different handles.
