Re: 2 Gallon Pressure Barrel

Yea I saw your thread on that, just remembered.

I've got 2 S30 valve caps at the moment so I could use one of those with my left over gas bulbs. Maybe invest in a tyre inflator to use my pub CO2 bottle in the future. Sounds like a plan

2 Gallon Pressure Barrel

What's your opinion/experience in using a 2 Gallon Pressure Barrel to fill from my pub kegs to take beer to a mates house?
Will the beer be ok for a few hours?

Re: High carbonation from a corny?

As koomber says, the trick with the party/picnic tap is to just open it fully in one quick action. Same when you want to stop, leave go of the trigger quickly. You can always then press it slightly to put more of a head on the beer.

I find the 3/16 beer line very forgiving with high pressure.

Re: High carbonation from a corny?

I have dispensed wine from mine at 30psi and 3degC. It was about 5' of 3/16" beer line, all contained in the fridge. Temp and enough pressure drop in the line really are the keys. I'll second that, I have the same beer line and length with a Party Tap. Serving at 7degC @ 17PSI No problems here :mrg...

Goes up in 4 PSI increments. My setup here: http://www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=58785&start=195#p641...

Re: Corny Keg and Cooler Setup - Pints of Foam!

I just set up my first keg and gas system. The carbonation chart is what I followed. I aimed for about 2.50 volumes of CO2 as a starting point and this turned out fine for my liking. From there you can work out the diameter and length of beer line to get 1 - 2 PSI at the tap. I used approx 5ft x 3/1...

Just came online to say the same. Replacement spear delivered today. Good job we found out about the iffy spear early on. Now on with the brewing! :D Ps. My 1st keg from Crusader is absolutely faultless. No gas leaks, no dramas. It gets drunk quicker too  Glad I went for these anyway. Look forw...

Lidl W5 Oxy Power

Always after a bargain, I picked this up from Lidl. Can anyone tell me if it is ok for cleaning stainless kegs? I've taken a pic of the ingredients. They seem to like me! Lol

I had an reply from their Design Technical team. I didn't even ask for a replacement. I said I would buy another and keep the dodgy one as a spare but they said they would swap it. I'll let you know what happens
