Re: Water analysis by Wallybrew/Pheonix analytical
Always use a Wallybrew water test, should do more than once a year, but now that he's been told to put his prices up, thanks for that whoever suggested that.

Re: St Austell Brewery Yeast
It's live in bottles of Proper Job, buy a couple or three, drink 90%, save the yeast, make a starter, you now have St Austell yeast.

Re: Multi-function brew trolley build
Sankey keg cleaning with spear in place would be great. Couplers that allow draining at the same rate as washing/ Sanitizer spraying are needed. The pump pressure must be strong enough to blast cleaner up the spear and the coupler able to drain at the same rate.

Re: Geterbrewed delivery
Never had that long a wait with geterbrewed. Usually about 4 or 5 days delivered. I used to use thr malt miller but switched to geterbrewed so i can use the make your own kits like the malt miller used to do. Malt Millar's recipe generator is now up and running, and even when it wasn't kits could b...

Re: St Austell 'Proper Job'
Filtered or not, it is the same yeast, this has been confirmed by Roger Ryman on several occasions. Like John I have used bottle conditioned St. Austell yeast and have a starter going now !!

I wonder if the python line could have been pulled away from the tank, time to open the cover and check what's happening to the recirculation.

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?
Just taken my set up off the metal back plate. The primary regulator feeds into the plastic box with a tee in the plastic which as u say is 15mm this then reduces to 3/8 down to the carbonation tap. Upwards it passes out of the box to a 90 elbow feeding into the diet regulator it passes on through t...

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?
I'm sure they are Norgren regulators. But I'm being a bit thick probably, don't understand if the regulators missing why are u bypassing the carbonation dial? Isn't it fed directly from the " primary" regulator? I have a spare Norgren reg.somewhere I'll try and find it and see if there is any way it...

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?
Yes they are robust and give a three different psi output as does the original board, bu seriously more industrial grown up secondary's!!!!! dont quite follow, but one 'feature' of the 3x inline primary type i have that is common with the old welders reg i used before, is that fine tuning to a low ...

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?
It's not as complicated as it looks !!! Plenty on the web and here on Jims. This is a US site but on first glance seems to go through the whole Kegerator set up issues. http://www.draft-beer-made-easy.com/ To put CO2 gas regulation at it basics. Gas Bottle is at very high pressure, potentially letha...

Re: Triple Gas Regulator?
Not sure I understand exactly what foobar is saying. I have one, essentially as I understand it, they consist of a primary regulator which sets the pressure on the first gauge and outlet. This is often set to say 20 psi for carbonation. This can then be stepped down for the next gauge and single out...

Re: Where to stick it?
Mods I can’t be the only one getting a little sick of the combative nature of some of the posts recently, it spoils some good discussion...... Agree. I use the forum features when things get sticky so all I see is: *******, who is currently on your ignore list, made this post. Perhaps people need a...
