Re: Bottle Conditioning

My method is to leave anything i bottle at room temperature for one week. After one week i move my bottles to somewhere dark and cooler. This is where ever i have space, be it a kitchen cupboard or a small lean-to shed in the back yard. Bottled beer is drinkable after two week but improves the longer...

Re: Room Temp when Priming Pressure Barrel.

Hello Doreblade. That is a lovely looking pint.
The next time you prime in a pressure barrel to help with your concern if its carbonating ok or not, mark the level of the beer with a felt or pencil on the barrel.
I find after 2 or 3 days the level falls below the mark then i sleep easy at night

Hello Simon.Did you take OG readings before fermentation? From what i understand is that you have primed in a pressure barrell :-k If so it sounds to me you may have not quite fermented down to your intented FG after fermentation. Re: Partystar deluxe tap won’t stop pouring

IMG_1634.JPG Hello private.I use a partystar deluxe but have not experienced this problem. One question though, do you prime your brews in the mini kegs or only rely on the CO2 from this system? I have always done both but my last 10l from a 20l batch(2 mini kegs)were all foam and total drainers. I...

Whats to lose? The yeast was only £1.25 which probalby cost me more than the ingredients i`ve already used. If the ...
