Re: Can you cool wort too quickly?

Yes I use Irish moss for the last 15 minutes. I didn't have this issue until I started using the pump though - hence my original question. It could be something else of course, but just thought I'd ask about the cooling as thats the main thing that has changed recently. My take off from the kettle i...

Re: Can you cool wort too quickly?

None of the beer I have brewed recently has had any high hop content so it's not that. Cold crashing hasnt helped either, other than slow bottle carbination right down (and in a couple of bottles it hasn't happened at all). The chiller has plenty boiling water run through after the brewing session a...

I've also been improving my equipment, with my most recent addition being a pump to pump the wort through my counter flow cooler. The main reason I did this was because my cooler was way too eff...

Re: Seymour Citra Gold

I've been lurking for a while, but this is my first post. I brewed this a few weeks back for a BBQ we were having. I have to say it was very popular and the batch didn't last the night! I've brewed some more now - first time I have repeated a recipe! thanks Seymour! I think I'll have a go at the Cit...
