Re: AG28 - Ruby Mild v2

About 38 IBUs and 6.2% abv (1061-1014). Nice.

Re: AG28 - Ruby Mild v2

Carb test. It's good, just needs to condition until Christmas. I still find the king keg great for English style ales. The father in law will love this. Very rich, malty and very fruity with a real warmth from the abv. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161116/d551a494c7804aedea38920b013fbb97.jpg Sen...

Re: AG28 - NZ Pale

Ah really we'll have to meet upfor a tasting I'm just on stone row Grange villa these days ... With the birth of our first daughter I seem to have little opportunity to get out at the minute! But I would love to do a bottle swap. The only thing is my beer is usually always in cornys now so I sugges...

Re: Russian Imperial Summit

Just my opinion, but if this is your first RIS then I think it better that you stick more to your base recipe and resist the temptation to make too many "exotic" flavour additions. On the other hand you may want to split the batch , do half with the vanilla and coffee beans etc. and the other half ...

Russian Imperial Summit

Once the NZ Pale is out of the brew fridge this is happening. I've never brewed a RIS before so any advice is very gratefully received. Should I throw some coffee beans/vanilla pods in the dry hop too? I've also got a large bag of Jack Daniels barrel chips which are looking at me too?! What do you t...

Dropped my grain bill slightly and got 1054 instead. Nice colour and all tucked up.

AG28 - NZ Pale

Need to get some more pale in the pipeline after the DKN got done in pretty quickly with friends and family. I had some older Motueka and Nelson Sauvin in the freezer so a NZ Pale seems appropriate. The Nelson smell is incredible. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161007/8d3b5667b022b4ff6677efac4c8c...

Re: AG27 - Witbier

Such a simple beer but damn tasty and refreshing with a segment of frozen orange.
