Grifo Capper - rusty spring?
I bought the Super Grifo capper 7 weeks ago and have used it to bottle 5 batches of beer. Two weeks ago I started getting rusty marks on the bottle caps and then the magnet fell out. I unscrewed the silver cap and a rusty spring fell out of the centre of the Grifo. I was shocked to see a non-stainle...

So connected that to the PID and voila - worked straight away. Took one of the 2 x PT-100 sensors I had been using connected it to the Novus Middle PID showin...

Which Speedfit fitting?
Nice easy one, I am trying to hook up a microbore (which I'm sure is 8mm) cooling saddle to a beer cooler. I THINK I need a 3/8" to 8mm John Guest Speedfit connector - but can I find such a thing on eBay / Toolstation.....?! What do I need?

I ordered mine back in late January and got completely nailed with freight forwarding! Did you have to pay cu...

200 Litre Stock Pot shortage?
I have a 100 litre electric brewery that I need to expand to supply more cask. Ideally I want to upgrade the brew kettle to 200 litres as at that is always filled to the brim at the start of a boil (see https://www.facebook.com/EmsworthBrewhouse/videos/vb.772196902873041/944261815666548/?type=2&thea...

Re: Milk Stout Finishing
JUST found the setting in BeerSmith - Double click on the Lactose and tick 'Not fermentable' and you get close to actual FG.... why they didn't mark this in the default ingredients list
