Re: Clean-in-place Spray Ball - ANY Fermenter/Keg

I have an rg550 pump that has these specs http://www.stuart-turner.co.uk/media/114746-Performance-RG550-2.pdf . And that doesn't run my cip ball , neither does my march may 815. I have a makita submersible pump doing the business atm , but this is far from hygenic, but it does get dried crud off cor...

I have one of these:

Although I only actually use it to control my HLT and don't recirculate at all at the moment.

Re: Pump around to £100 mark

i have a pump similar to the angel and malt liller , I also have 2 march may's , if i was in the market for a new pump it would be the blichmman riptide , for sheer ease of cleaning, it is however £190 so a bit out of your budget . in fact im going to order 2 conversion kits for my march's.

Re: Brewing a lager using a kit, lager yeast and a brew fridge

kit wise , I suppose a coopers euro lager will be a decent starting point , otherwise just get some lme as you won't be using kit yeast. Yeast wise fermentis w34/70 is my go to yeast , very clean tasting and reliable if your patient. the rest of your plan seems sound. I ferment at 12c.

Stainless cooling coil

I'm looking for a cooling coil to fit a fermenter less than 4" in diameter / width . Similar to this by anvil brewing, I can't find a place that ships to the uk

Re: Filtering?

I have done in the past, i have 2 custom 10" water filters made out of stainless steel. i used 20 micron and 5 micron filters in them (disposable) , i used to kick the sediment up by accident in my previous brewing area due to lack of room and being inexperienced (impatient). There will be still som...
