This seems promising so far. I have experienced similar issues to those Eric mentioned with cheap little pumps, some had quite short lives when pumping boiling wort on hot days, in particular. They also contained nooks and crannies that were not (IMO) sufficiently sanitary for post-boil uses. I'll ...

Pottolom: It must be nice to get those harvested, dried and into freezer bags. Well done.
I'm hoping to pick mine over the next few days, one Fuggles and a Northern Brewer which were planted from a rhizome in Feb. Hope the weather stays fine, I'll post some pics when I harvest them.

After a couple of very blustery days, I went out to the garden this morning to find the tips of both bines of my Fuggles broken off :cry: It was going great guns and had reached nearly 2m. I'm guessing that this is now the end of the road for it and it won't grow anymore? Better news is my other hop...
