Re: Noxav Pump - Flow Rate question

The Novax 20 M & B only differ in seal types afaik.

As it's a centrifugal pump it can be safely throttled with a ball valve on the outlet.

Re: ebay temp controller

Very nice! And 1100W should suffice for all but the biggest of fridge/freezer coolant bits. I have one of these. It has 10 amp relays fitted which means 2.4kw is the max load. However the cable is only 0.75mm meaning a max load of around 1.4kw. If you were handy you could probably modify this to sh...

Re: The most grapefruit of all hops?

Cheers for the reply. The beer ( Porterhouse Hop Head ) that introduced me to grapefruit all those years ago is still in production, and while the beer that introduced me to Amarillo (cut with Cascade) isn't, the latter never reminded me of grapefruit. Now that I look at the recipe for HH I see ther...

The most grapefruit of all hops?

I've been asked to brew an IPA with pronounced grapefruit character. To me grapefruit has always been a blend of Centennial and Cascade, whereas the likes of Amarillo etc is more citrus orange.

I have to admit I'm not up to the latest and greatest hops, but I'm just wondering what other folks think.
