I was really impressed with the quality of the hops in the last group buy - they've made some great beers. If available I would go for 500g of Northern Brewer and 500g of Ahtanum!

Cheers charliemartin - that is another thought. I thought about re-use at the start of the boil to ensure that any nasties which might potentially be introduced would be eliminated via the boil. Would that still be the case after a short(ish) steep?
