I have just bought a pack of Wyeast 1469 and i am wanting to overbuild my starter to keep some as my house yeast. Beer Engine Overhaul
I‘m about to strip down and overhaul my beer engine as it is really dirty, having been laid around in a closed pub for awhile. My question is after putting it all together and running some starsan through it would it be ok to leave starsan within the cylinder.

Sam Adams Pressurised fermentation
Im about to brew a Sam Adams Boston Lager clone, using the pressurised fermentation method, my question is do i treat as a true lager and apply pressure straight away or do i treat it as an ale and let it ferment naturally?

As per title I have Partystar deluxe tap which has worked fine since I first got it. Yesterday i tapped into a new keg and went to pour a pint all was good the usual amount of foam but to my horror would not stop pouring. Normally once handle released it stops but not this time. Sorry for the delay in answering you Eric, from the test kits my Alkilinity was 57 and Calcium was 60. the water report gave my water as soft.

I use test kits to achieve calcium and carbonate levels the rest i take from my water supplier water report.

Hi everyone i am hoping in the next few days to make a Bishops Finger Clone and was wondering if anyone could help me with a water profile for this brew, i have the option of using 100% RO water or 50/50 home water and RO water. Many thanks in advance
