Re: Brewers Friend Proper Jobish
How did this beer turn out?
My yeast from proper job bottles made my tribute clone taste like hoe garden.
Very nice in the end but not what i was after.
I think st Austell may be using a different yeast to clear the bottle.

Re: Proper job yeast made my tribute clone taste like my Bel
I started it at 17c then brought it up to 20 over a few days. I thought it would blow out the top as thats what happened with the starters on the stir plate. It got it from 1.041 to 1.010 in about 9 days i guess. I suppose now its fermented i can't change much. Gonna be my first brew down the drain ...

I tried both starters when growing the yeast and thought it tasted like one of my previous brews. I used WLP530 with that beer. Now the beer has got down to 1.010 in the fv and tast...

Re: All grain 2. Blonde bombshell (James Morton)
There's loads of how to videos on youtube. The hardest bit is boiling the jars and getting them out and lid on with hot water in. I only washed once. Some seem to do it more. But i have read on here that people don't think u really need to wash. Just use the dregs that are in the fv. Sent from my LG...

Re: All grain 2. Blonde bombshell (James Morton)
Do you wash the yeast when you collect it or just keep the trub? I poured about 500ml of boiled then cooled water into the fermenter. Swirled then put back in the 500ml jar. Next day poured off the water and then poured the yeast into that jar leaving the trub bit behind. My first attempt at this. ...

I haven't got to grips with the brewing software side yet so just straight swap. I have played around with brew target but am...
