Re: What fridges are we using?

Thanks! I was more thinking about a under the counter type like a traditional kegerator because it’s going in the house. New would be fine I’m just concerned about buying a new one and the kegs not fitting. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180621/e76a6c8b617eef31825d590471d4d85f.jpg Sent from my ...

Inkbird 308 calibration

Hi,

Anybody know how to calibrate these, I can't seem to be able to work it out. It's only 2oC out and I can compensate for this but would rather it be as accurate as possible.

Re: Can I re-ferment a bottled beer that had stuck fermentation?

You could decant a couple of bottles into your next beer of a similar style so you don't waste it. I've done this with an ipa I had with the same problem.

Re: Priming a Saison style beer

I used the carbonation chart in Greg Hughes book Home Brew Beer, he doesn't list a sasion but he says 6.6g per 500ml for lambic and sour ales so I went with that in the end.

Re: Priming a Saison style beer

I used a abbey style yeast by safale. I've bottled it this evening using 6g per 500ml bottle, see how it turns out.

Priming a Saison style beer

Hi, I'm after some advice on priming the above beer in 500ml bottles. I normally just use a tea spoon of priming suger in the bottle with all my beers, but I've had a few issues on the odd batch, so I feel I need to look into the exact levels in my detail. So how many grams of priming sugar should I...

Re: Double Mash BM

I've done a couple of double mash recipes with my BM and you seem to have it all covered.

Re: Triple hopped triple IPA

I'm using Saf-05. Pitched 3 packets on top of a yeast cake of the same strain.

I've no idea myself when to add the champagne yeast but thought on the lines of when it all started to slow down a bit.

Still going strong today!

Cheers :D

Triple hopped triple IPA

Hi, I brewed the above beer on Sat, it's one of the brewdog recipes. It should get up to about 16% but the recipe says you need to used champagne yeast to get it to this, but start with beer yeast. When do you think I should pitch in the champagne yeast? I was thinking about 10% but I've no idea and...

Re: Help with chill haze

Hi, I'm also into about 8 or 9 brews and seem to sometimes get the same issue as you, but only with high late hops or dry hopping. I never get an issue with lightly hopped beers. The last dry hopped beer I did I made sure I got a good rolling boil and this seems to have made a big difference in the ...
