Hi there,
How long does it take to brew 5 gallons from start to finish please?
I was looking at a GF but from what i hear it takes about 7hrs start to finish which is far longer than my current BIAB set up
I was wondering how long this one takes

I dont think the 306 has any cooling, so go for the 308 I have 2 308 units and I have an STC 1000 I built, and they both do exactly the same. Once you add all the bits to build your own (project box, cable) etc they probably work out the same price. The 308 wasnt available when I built my first one ...

I use hot water tank lagging (red insulation jacket) available from B&Q, Wickes etc (about £10).
