Hi I had the same issue with gervin yeast. Spent 3weeks in the FV and still would not go below 1.028 so ended up with a sweet low alcohol wherry. I normally use SO4 which is great and quick and normally gets to my required FG I used temp control and was disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

just seen this thread brewed an ipa saturday and pitched safale s-04 yeast at 12pm bubbles by 4pm crazy by six. noticed the temperature went up to nearly 24degrees form my prefeered 20 got out the maxi cool 110 and the python pump had been got at by mice. So as i have the 7 gal bm chronical i attach...

which yeast for a patersbier

i have 3 spare yeasts in my fridge and want to do a patersbier

which one would be best alternative. :?:

Mangrove jacks
begian tripel
bohemian lager
californian lager

i thought that the tripel would be the best and ferment at 16 deg raising as time goes on.

thoughts anybody

i use wilco oxi plus unscented cleaner £2 kilo cheap as chips then starsan.

never had a problem just rinse well before using starsan then all will be ok.
