Re: Autumn Burst
Seems to work quite well, its early days as its only been in the bottle a week now. The overal impression is an IPA style, its quite sweet, but I normally mash at 67 as I like body in a beer. Initial taste is sweet, then there is a floral impression, then a big smack of bitterness (but I expect that...

Here is a recipe for a light beer I made a few weeks ago to use up some hops I had sitting around in the freezer for some time. I bottled it last weekend and cracked one open this evening - its a real cracker, sweet nice hop aroma and good balanced bitterness. IBUs are low for the level of hops, but...

Re: The fifth mild
I just had a taste and it is good!, I dont think it will ferment down much more either by the taste of it - initially sweet with a malty after taste, no hint of bitterness at all....

Re: Best way to "fine" beer - the vegetarian way?
I'm looking for the best way to clear a beer, but keeping it vegetarian. There was a vegetarian fining available until recently but they're out of business now. :( I'm currently drinking a beer that has been conditioning for close to 3.5 weeks now and it's still not completely cleared: My latest br...
