I put pellets in a large bag. (with hook on inside of lid, or even with dental floss over the edge to get the bag out later). Put them in 3-4 days after pitching yeast and leave for 3-7days. So the hop aroma goes into the beer at the same time as conditioning at 19C. Then squeeze bags to get the goo...

make sure you pitch a ton of happy healthy yeast.
Its not really possible to over pitch yeast, but if you under pitch it can lead to all kinds of problems, like you describe.

Hello, I do BIAB in a 185l pot, so use about 130litres of water with about 30kg of grain. Which is pretty heavy when wet, but nothing I cant lift with the pully. I pull mine up with a pully no problem and swing the bag over the pot before releasing it into a wheel barrow. This guy in the states made...
