I think it's probably intentional because the hopping schedule is also as vague as vague can be!

Hi fellow brewsters
I’ve been looking at trying a Cybernaut clone but on inspection of the DIY recipe released by BrewDog, the mash temperature is listed as 0 degrees C for 15 minutes!!!!!!!
Anyone out there got any info on this ludicrous mash schedule??

I was always under the impression that commercial breweries only added salts to the mash and adjusted the alkalinity of both mash and sparge liquor?

If you want to have a ball park figure of alpha acid potential, I've always found this calculator useful.
Of course, we never really know the age of the hops, just the commercial year of sale etc.
