Re: Ro or tap

Thanks for all your advice and comments all. The yeast is happily bubbling away now on my 1st brew with water amendments! I had no idea that a simple question would promote 195 posts! I even understood about 30 of them! 😁 One small question. Graham wheeler calc. The Sulphate to chloride ratio bit. I...

Re: Ro or tap

Oh dear. It appears to have got complicated again just when I'd worked out how to use the GW calculator! If I use the recommendation from dry pale ale will I be in the right ball park? Please bare in mind I've done no water treatment really before for last 15ish brews so anything probably an improve...

Re: Ro or tap

Ah. I've got crs but not ams. I'll give them a call tomorrow! Tomorrow I'll post my reviewed recipe if you'd be able to take a look that'd be great and confirm water additions. I'm working the GW calcs also but want to cross ref with what you get to make sure I'm using it properly. Brewing Friday 🀞....

Eric, I've no idea about blonde characteristics sadly just that the original recipe was called centennial blond...

Re: Ro or tap

Again, I didn't realise when I decided on that recipe all the things I might/should consider. I am grateful for all the advice and will use it for sure! Maybe I could post wallybrews analysis and you could confirm your thoughts in due course? I will have a look at Bru'n Water and see if I can roughl...

Thought I'd try imperial yeast flagship with it. Batch Size: 5.50 gal Boil Size: 6.57 gal Estimated ...
