Sorry for necroposting, but I've found few info regarding peated malt. First of all, we can check "peatiness" from malt datasheet - check phenol level and you'll see. Then you should decide, which style you are going to brew and take in mind OG of beer - higher OG assumes more peated malt in grainbi...

3463 doesn't suit to this beer. It has phenols, but aroma differs. Also not sure about roasted barley - next time will try black malt and WLP530.

Sorry for necroposting, does anyone tried @seymour recipe? I used 'most common' recipe with Brown Malt and was disappointed with resuilts. Not a Leffe Brune taste...

Tried Castle Malt's and Revvy's recipes. The second one quite similar with original Leffe Blonde, but should be fermented at the middle of the yeast recomended yeast range.
My next trial - with aromatic malt, raw barley and 1762 yeast - in the bottles now.

29 mm caps works fine. And for any champane bottle with similar neck shape.
