Just bought two kits and 2x1.5kg lme cans for 30 euro on homebrewwest.ie think we get a good kit deal over here. Not sure how it is in england etc we have an ongoing price war between the main suppliers don't see the same here but it could be if not kick u a fuss ....

update: made it up just after christmas...3 weeks in primary .. dry hop with another 20g summit pellet. tastes super clean for an ale not overly bitter.. very lemonny...super drink . think i got it to around 6.5% -7% but no alchol burn off it. easy drinking for a strong one. so clean tasting it coul...

i will dry hop it with summit shame not too.. have a lot of it in stock... im only presuming they are 20g i didnt weight them.
EDIT: jsut weighed them 24g inc the packing so 20g of hops oul be right... yeast sachet is quite big too.. weights 22g.

arrived today..4.7kg of liquid malt in a bag. about 20g of summit and 20g of simcoe in foil .( says they are tea bags inside) a big packet of yeast . makes 23 l at 7.1%....going on next week

ordered it kinda blind. but at 4.7kg how bad can it be .... got it here in ireland for 22.60gbp /26.9 euro + shipping (homebrewwest). will post back with result. maybe 1 month ... just did an extract ESB kit (3kg and hop/grain additions from thehomebrewcompany.ie ) brew and have a stock of stout / a...

all about the hops...no idea whats in ttl....had it once in bottle one on draught ..before i appreciated it really...cant be arsed paying 3 euro a pop now when i can brew a tweaked cooper or woodforde kit for a fraction..........to be honest if you tweak any coopers ale kit ..ive doen .....ipa / apa...

i used the ale one in a coopers ipa...also added a lash of cascade but the flava really added grainy freshness, i paid 2.45 euro so 2.10 gbp ...if just starting with tweaking its great if you brew a bit better off get 500g crystal and a bag of what ever hop floats your boat.///.............also have...

+1 coopers is flawless yeast is very robust.....on related topic has anyone used coopers with s04 or danstar etc and noticed much improvement...im thinking of culturing yeast from the coopers commercial pale ale.......to see if it makes a differecne?

i second the barrel for cask style ale.....also have ibrew bottles and 2 taps....also great 5liter a go instead of 10 bottles....also used mini kegs reused form lidl...( hassle with rust/ leak/ have to drink it all fast) but a real glass bottle is great ....i bottle half mine and use ibrew/ 1 L bulm...

it could be that its the freshest stout ive had yet ,,,usually let in in fv for 3 week and barrel for 3 week this one 10 day fv and 5 in barrel. An post would probably charge the same price as a kit to shipo 1 btl anyway....as for getting somthing new int he order ...if it aint broke dont fix it.......
