couldn't point me in the right direction of this carbonation cap could ya?
It's pretty much why I was intending to get the small keg so handy I don't really need it for this job

Re: Line Cleaning and connection sequence
I'll order some PBW or chem clean or something, I've not got any anyway, and have really just been sanitising rather than cleaning - noob mistake again to be honest, i've no idea if I should be force carbing or not! I've primed as per instructions of the kit, but other than that it's not had any C02...

Line Cleaning and connection sequence
ok, so first time corny user and wanting to do the right thing. so, the cider is in Keg 1 couple of weeks off being ready. wine is due to go into keg 2 december 2nd. I'd like to do a stout for keg 3. Now, I'm considering buying a small keg purely for line cleaning. I've never carbonated before so ca...

carbonating, conditioning and drinking
Hi all, as some will know i've just gotten into the whole kegging thing. This is my first time in doing this so hopping for a spot of advice. Current brew is cider, It's had it's primary ferment, then as per instructions, it's had the sugar added and put into a warm (I set the brew fridge to 18 deg)...

Re: what's the next step from kits and plastic?
I don’t have experience of other systems, but you will find that there is plenty of time within the overall five-ish hour brew day with the Grainfather for example that you can devote to other tasks whilst waiting for it to do its thing! Don’t assume that it is five non-stop dedicated hours, partic...

Re: what's the next step from kits and plastic?
Find a local club. Someone there will be able to loan you equipment, orr you can go around to another brewer's house, make the wort on their kit and then ferment it at your home. You might find the 5+ hour brew day more of a pain than you care for. Excellent advice usually, unfortunately, the lates...

Re: what's the next step from kits and plastic?
Quite a few try to turn pro, briefly  Oh I’ve zero interest in turning pro. This is and will always be a hobby. Just like to be a bit more involved is all. The kits I’ve used have given decent results but it would be fun to try my hand at a bit more of the process. Again, no interest in turnin...

Re: what's the next step from kits and plastic?
I do like shiny stuff.
It's not so much money is no object, but i'd be a bit against spending £70 on an urn, to then not use it once I've bought the GF - so may as well make the leap off the bat....that's what I'm telling myself anyway.
going to need more fermenting space though!!

what's the next step from kits and plastic?
Hi all, so another lockdown...which means I'll be drinking and brewing more   I was wondering, what the next phase is from kits and brewing in plastic fermenters? I've seen some of your setups and blimy!! I would like to eventually have a bash at my own brews from scratch and be a bit less...

Re: Secondary Regulators
haven't used it as yet, I was intending to set up with the intention of using it i'd read on other forums about it but seems a topic of debate against 70/30.
But, changed the order on the gas man now, so will have CO2 for cider, 70/30 for Stout. N2 for wine
hopefully that sorts my issue

Re: Secondary Regulators
Ooooh no I’m not - yes on the faucet, but was purely discharging with nitrogen. I think that may be an error - stout uses 70/30 doesn’t it

Secondary Regulators
Hi all, so i've ordered most of the bits I need to get the Kegerator sorted. All bar secondary regulators. Now, I'm pretty set on having a keg for wine, keg for cider and a keg for stout. the wine and stout will be run off N2 and the Cider off CO2. With this in mind, no secondaries on the CO2 line -...

Kegerator side taps?
Has anyone mounted taps on the side of their kegerator? As you can see on the photo, my fridge sits next to a worktop, I like the idea of having the taps come out on the side, the. I can have the drip tray etc on the worktop. Plus with the fridge having a water thing on the door it’s going to be a p...

Re: Gas Regulator Boards
thanks all, so Jocky, do you have a primary regulator on the bottle, then use as per your photo being secondaries?
I like the style, looks perfect for my aims, Can just start with 1 secondary and add more as (if) I see fit.
