I used to give it to the chickens. It's surprising how much 4 of them could deal with! Even after mashing it's probably a bit like giving a child a packet of Maltesers. Now i simply chuck it on the compost heap.

Actually I think i've worked out what was going wrong. The latest blush is just about ready for bottling and early indications are it's going to be good. I think the difference is I took great care this time to make sure the concentrate was fully mixed into the added water. I suspect if you don't do...

I've made these kits several times and the past - my good lady likes them - and been very happy with the results. However, the last couple of times they've ended up a little sweet.
