I made the same mistake. US 2 row has higher protein so if you sub with UK pale malt you need to add wheat malt to make up the protein. Or you could use pilsner or lager malt which has comparable protein levels.

I couldn't find Lidl W5 Oxy Powder, instead I found Lidl Formil Oxi Action but sadly both the whites and colours tub had perfume listed on the ingredients so I passed.
