9 or 10 weeks ago since bottling larger onto cooper PET 500ml bottels and only now showing sighns of a firm carbonation in bottles, is this normal. Tried one two weeks into bottling and it was flat and awfull, does this mean I could try anouther one now or should I wait some more time before trying ...

Bottled lager on 17/02/21, first filled a trial jar and checked it was 1.022. After bottling lager the likes of an hour or towards shecked again at 1.015 maybe i've just got a slow hydrometer.

Took gravity on 13/02/21 12 days after being in the fv at 19c, on a coopers mexican lager, and the hydrometer teld 1.015. On 14/02/21 turned fv up to 21c reading someware to help finish of fermentation and took next gravity reading on 15/02/21 expecting to bottle beer strait away only to find gravit...

Going to try botlling a Coopers Mexican Cerveza larger tomorrow using coopers carbonation drops to 500ml plastic PET bottles. Online kit shops suggest 2 per bottle is enough to carbonate any brew, if I was going to test diferent carbonation levels in diferent bottles does anyone know if going up to ...

Thanks for info on gravity. Been triping on wot I think was a Brooklyn beer drank out of a bottle in the cold a while ago. Put a Coopers Mexican Cerveza in the fv yesterday, used coopers brew enancer 1, 450g tin of golden syrup, 200g of mollasses suger and the yeast sashet provided with kit, if sg stands for start gravity at 1049(if so what does og stand for) should this be taken before adding yeast and is this any thin...

2 weeks in keg and keeps geting slowly beter. Totaly flat though which is ok for a stout, will adding a co2 bulb add any fizz to the stout or will it just put presure in the keg for dispensing?

Waited till last weekend to take gravity reading of stout(so two weeks in the fv), friday and saterday both read at 1012.5 so keged with 47g of dark belgan candy suger but only managed to get 15/16l of stout into the keg syphoning from the fv tap(airlock I found later), placed keg on heat mat at sam...

Finally got round to brewing stout last Sunday afternoon(now the next Friday evening), sterilized equipment used a kettle for boiling water to dilute can contents from Coopers stout and Coopers liquid malt(dark) whiped first and then stirred in the yeast sachet(at about 22c/23c). Although probably not 100% the correct threed, can an FV(normal 5gal unpresureized) with an airlock on top still blow it's lid off ?
