Beersmith3 Set Up
Hi, I have just downloaded Beersmith 3 (trial 21 days) and I cannot see how you change from U.S. Units to Metric units. The online videos show a preferences tab in Beersmith 2 and how to completely change to metric settings, but I cannot see this anywhere in Beersmith 3.

Re: Turbo Cider Raspberry
What is back sweetening ? Is this non fermentable sweeteners added during bottling along with the priming sugar ?
I have already added the sweetener at the fermenting stage.

Re: Turbo Cider Raspberry
Thank you all for your replies. I think I could go the real raspberry route. Not sure why I should use beer yeast as the cider kits uses cider yeast ? Hence the Mangrove Jack.

Turbo Cider Raspberry
I haven't made a Turbo Cider since 2010. That was just a one off with apple concentrate with blackberries. It was so dry and without taste that I haven't bothered since. I would now like to have another go and I propose the following : 20 litres of Asda 100% apple concentrate. 1 bottle of Lowicz ras...

Purple Beer Line Cleaner Quantities ?
I have recently received 5 litres of gmb green indicator beer line cleaner (even though it is purple in colour) and I am now ready to clean my beer line, about 5 metres , and beer engine. There is no instructions as to what quantity I should use, whether I need to dilute the cleaner, and how long to...

Re: Cask dispensing using CO2 to keep beer fresh
Hi jamesdill,
Thanks for those links. Harry Masons certainly have some great cellar stuff. Are they trade only or will they supply home brewers ? Great prices too. Thanks
