Hi
Has anybody seen this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAE2r_AeO8Q
also here http://www.homebrewstuff.com/5-gallon-p ... ubkeg.html
Do you think some of the homebrew shops in the UK will get this or something similar as an alternative to the now very expensive cornelius keg?
cheers

Re: Adjusting recipe size
Yeah thought that would be how it would work. Would I still use just 1 packet of yeast and 1 whirflok tablet or would I need to double those?

Like the idea of the tyre inflator into the car valves. Would I be able to connect it to the gas line that connects to the regulator on the welding cylinder? It's a matter of working out all the bits going together if possible to make this work I suppose!

Re: Connecting a Halfords welding gas cylinder to a King Keg
No I don't have any of the items yet except the King Keg. I would need the co2 cylinder plus the regulator that goes with it and some gas line, it is how I connect it to the cap that I'm not sure how to go about.

Connecting a Halfords welding gas cylinder to a King Keg
Hi is there any way of connecting a Halfords disposable welding gas cylinder to a King Keg. I have a bottom tap one with the small 8g cylinder type pin valve in the lid. I was thinking along the lines of using the disposable co2 gas cylinders connected to the lid via some kind of valve with a tyre v...

Re: Leaking King Keg emergency
Thanks for the advice guys. In regards to the dalex tap in your picture orlando what parts would I need to convert my barrell to the same as yours? It looks excellent by the way. My barrell is a bottom tap King Keg. I had replaced the old tap with one of the black water barrell taps. I thought it wa...

Leaking King Keg emergency
Hi I just discovered my King Keg barrell has been leaking at the tap. It has a had batch of a Guinness clone in it for about a week. I had a few 1 litre plastic fizzy water bottles handy so I transferred all of the batch to them. My question is, there was quite a lot of gas in the brew when I transf...

Re: Wherry taste's funny
Hi The Jerry cans are food grade as far as I'm aware because they are water containers and have been used successfully by others on the forum. check out The Jerry Keg is Born! - Cheap Pressure Keg Option in brewing equipment by Floydmeddler. They have worked out great otherwise. I may just have been...

Wherry taste's funny
Hi I have made a Wherry kit and split it into 2 10ltr Jerry cans with a tap and tyre valve fitted to each one as done elsewhere on the forum. I added 25g of priming sugar and left for a couple of weeks to mature. I have finished the first Jerry can with great results, nice carbonation, taste etc... ...

Is this the future for dispensing?
Hi Folks Check out the info and videos on this webpage http://www.petainer.com/Large-Containers/Keg-Family.aspx Do you think this could be adapted in to the home brewing world? I would imagine that if the Petainers were really cheap there would be no point in cleaning and refilling them, just use it...

Re: The Jerry Keg is Born! - Cheap Pressure Keg Option
Thanks Floydmeddler I will give that a try. Just been checking all your links it's great what you can learn. The beer engine connected to the bag in a box thing looks interesting. I'll be honest I didn't really know much about beer engines until I started following links here, went straight on to Yo...
