Thanks for the advice all, looks like i'll go ahead and bottle tonight. No idea what the OG was unfortunately, guess i'll just have to sup it and guess and ABV!

Is my Coopers Stout Stuck?
Hi All I have had a coopers stout in my fermenter for a couple of weeks and for the last few days its been stuck at around 1.012-1.014 FG. Is this finished? it seems rather high to me compared to previous brews. I added 1.5kg LME and the end of a bag of DME which could be the difference i suppose? A...

I'd quite like to replicate Badger's Fursty Ferret if its possible with the amber malt I have, other supermarket ales I drink regularly are old peculiar, hobgoblin and bass to name just a few! is it relatively easy to fine Clone recipes? I double checked and its actually a 1kg bag of dark spray malt...

Thanks for the replies, I managed to get a couple of replacement O rings shipped form Germany and ive given the bottles a good clean out with oxiclean, turns out we had some with the washing power (not anymore). I've heard it can be hard to get a decent seal with these and its worth lubing up the wa...

Yeah I usually just clean my regular bottles with washing up liquid and sterilise with an iodine based steriliser, however i think i need something more hardcore, is oxyclean like soda crystals? Ahh boo, there is one reasonable sized dent in the can (bout an 1.5 inch indent) in the side of the can, this gonna mess things up?
