I brewed a batch of bitter last year with bramling hops that I really like. Unfortunately the only shop I ever saw that carried them went out of business.
We can send Bramling Cross hops to you, we are sending a fair few varieties, especially English, to the States now.

Hey Eric,
Thanks for posting your findings, really helpful for the community.
I bet that Parkin is amazing, specially with a slab of salty butter, cut so think you can see your teeth marks!

Re: Deliveries to BFPO

The problem is almost none of the courier companies will do it, so as much as we want to it is very difficult

Re: WLP001 'Next Gen'

Brewlab yeast slopes will be available in the next 10 days:- https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product-category/ingredients/yeast/brewlab-yeast-slopes/ Plus, a whole raft of yeast related education in collaboration with Brewlab. Really looking forward to this. That’s great news! I’m going to have to ...

Re: WLP001 'Next Gen'

This a really interesting one. If WL were producing both types of packaging then I think that the smaller volume pouches would be more popular on a price basis. Trouble is, the only way we can buy 001 is now in the new, larger packaging. As for pricing, what has been said above doesn't really stack ...

Re: Finally a PITA-free canning solution?

Have to agree, Too much faffing about🤔 a grand for the canning machine with a duo can filler! I can probably fill and cap 2-3 500 ml bottles in the time it takes to fill and seam one can and then the machine flicks beer all over your upper body. :) We have sold out but more will be in stock...

Can you repackage without compromise, or would that break an agreement?
Repackaging goes on, with some even using the original branding which is just taking the p1ss. Repacking into a different brand, such as your own is possible, just then need to build the brand and educate your customers;)

Re: Ghost ship clone (BIAB)

Allow me to show my ignorance here about something I've never understood! If yeast is pitched at a low rate, say 0.4g/L, but the fermentation gets going, why doesn't the yeast just keep multiplying until the primary fermentation is over? In other words, why does a low pitch rate for dry yeast lead ...

Re: Ghost ship clone (BIAB)

Intrigued by the yeast choice in the MM kit - two packs of S04 to start with and then one pack of Lalbrew Farmhouse after four days  We have been / continuing doing a lot of research and education into dry yeast pitching rates. Most brewers simply assume that one packet of yeast is suitable ...

Use Brewlab. 6 quid a pop plus postage
That is a great option, but, not really a comparison. Those are slants that take skill, time and effort as well extra ingredients to propagate. We are however looking at every possible option for supplying yeast to suit every budget and requirement.

Re: Whitelabs yeast prices

The amazing thing is, we import the yeast from the States and still charge less than home brewers are paying for it from MoreBeer. That means somewhere there is a big issue. https://www.morebeer.com/products/wlp001-california-ale-yeast-purepitch-generation-white-labs.html The exchange rate, shipping...
