Re: " Ditch's Stout " Master Class .....
After reading this thread a couple of weeks ago all the positive comments convinced me to brew this as close as I could to ditch's recipe. Well about 30 minutes ago I bottled 5 litres of it and kegged the rest and straight away got in about it. First couple of mouthfuls I wasn't quite convinced, but...

I would also like to know, have eyed this kit up a few times, but have heard nothing about what to expect.

Re: Cider - Harvest 2010
I'll post pics up later. Looks like I'm doing it on a far smaller scale than you guys. I'm using just my trusty juicer to obtain the juice and then this juice gets filtered. Still got a way to go as it's taking much longer than I had planned. I just couldn't justify spending money on things that wil...

Re: Cider - Harvest 2010
I'm in the middle of obtaining all the juice from my apples, the SG is just a tad over 1050. Having to take a break as the motor is over heating!

Re: Beef and Ale Stew
My secret weapon when making steak and ale pies, is Theakstons old peculiar. Works so well, I think I know what I'm making tonight now.

Re: Muntons Connoisseur's Wheat Beer with Raspberry
Just had a wee tester bottle that was primed with cherry syrup. It's lovely and fruity, I think my mum and gf will love it. Great colour too, It's crystal clear in the bottled, but didn't pour well.

Re: Lidl Boiler
I really want to get this boiler as a cheap step for me into all grain, but still not sure if I should skimp on the boiler. It's about time I made the step up really hrmmm.

Re: Cider - Harvest 2010
I have an apple tree in the garden which I have been eyeing up all year ready to make cider. The crop this year is much bigger than last years, the branches are bending with all the weight! I've no idea what type of apple it is, I just know they taste a bit sour. So I'm thinking of mixing in some sh...

Muntons Connoisseur's Wheat Beer with Raspberry
So I've made this up a 2 weeks ago. It got left in the FV longer than usual as I went off on holiday. I added a bottle of Raspberry syrup to this kit as well, didn't think much flavour would be left over after fermentation, but I thought what the hell. Well I bottled it all today and had a cheeky ta...

Re: Extract Recipes
Looking through the forum I notice that no one looking for recipes has mentioned the "Kit and Extract Designer" software that is available as a free download from http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum//index.php?s=deb673983c1723f821ce96eb56a92e34&act=attach&type=post&id=38825 The software has been ...

Re: What would you ask Brewdog?
I had a couple of Brewdogs last night, tried punk IPA, trashy blonde and rip tide. Rip tide was by far my favourite, the punk was way too much for me, trashy blonde I could drink a couple of but rip tide was very drinkable. I'll try more as I find them, which shouldn't be too hard up here. I do like...

My brew is being called Election Day APA. The Hung over name is brilliant though.

Brilliant thread. You will certainly have to tell me when I'll be able to purchase a bottle from you as your not that far away! One day I aspire to do something like this.
