Re: Toms Bar-keggerator

how you getting on with them taps? Taps are brilliant. Flow control helps. Also on the first try I lobbed some gelatine in the cornie and it bunged the tap up but you can strip these ones right down to clean (remember not to put gelatine in cornie). The vertical parts of the tower have a copper tub...

Toms Bar-keggerator

Hi guys, thought i would share my bar-keggerator. I always wanted to have a bar since leaving my mum and dads when i was 19. We used to have one in the kitchen which always proved a hit with the mates. Forward 18 years and hooked on ag brewing, i had a bit of spare space at the side of house, so bui...

Re: Fitting a dial thermometer to boiler

100l/60l setup too big?

I currently do 23l brews which go into cornies and bottles but I wanted the option to do double cornie brews so I thought it would be wise to go for a nice big 100l pot as a hlt/boiler and 60l thermos pot for mash tun. Now that ive got them im thinking that there going to be too big for those 23l br...

Re: buying from catering-service-fr

Was 19 euros I think for both items.(cant find email) They came in 2 big boxes bound together but there was no internal protection. There was a slight dent in the 100 l pot but it was slight and I'm very very happy with the items. Don't hesitate to buy if you want shiny. Can't wait to out grow them ...

Re: buying from catering-service-fr

Same process for me, I sent them a "ask seller Question" via eBay France using google chrome browser which translated it into english and logged in via my normal eBay login. Asked about combined price and postage for 2 items. Got message back via eBay which was in French but again copied to google a...

Too late for New Year Brew?

Hi all, was wondering if its just a bit late to get a brew on so thats its ready for New Years Eve. Brewday would be friday night so would only be a 15day turnaround from brewing to drinking. Ive done the hoegardin-ish and a stout but was looking for an easy drinking hoppy ale. Will be going in a co...

Re: Dalex or Stainless Taps?

sorry koomber, forgot to say that those taps look super nice.

the dalex ones seem the cheaper option but the stainless are shiny. if it was just for me i would go dalex but since mates and missus will be around to look at them i went for shiny
