Why not message Scott at the brewery with your recipe and ask him if you’re going in the right direction he started as a home brewer and is very friendly always ready to discuss beer with other home brewers.

I set it to 1mm ie credit card thickness not too fine a crush best of luck

I have got a conical and i lager, fwiw i dump a little yeast to start with the lager on top so that the weight of the liquid starts to move the yeast i then draw off the lager to keg ,then i dump the yeast split into 2 ,1 for the next lager 1 for the fridge. i then give the conical a good clean and ...

I set the gap at 1mm use a fairly wide bucket, at the moment i hand crank
and lean on the hopper not had any problems

I have had the bulldog for xmas so have only been allowed to test it, it works well with the gearing
and easy to adjust the rollers

with the 7 gallon ss brewtech chronical you lose 1.5 litres so if you leave the yeast and trub in before racking
then this reduces the loss to about .75l

I have got a cascade outside in its second year it produced 350 gm dried which means it has
already paid for itself and its 3-3 inches out of the groundthis year
