I tried RJ King but they wanted a £60 deposit! Went to Whites Cellar supplies in Lawrence Hill. £45 for a 14lb bottle including deposit

I did the TTL kit last year and it was great. I'm on my 4th extract beer (Hopback Summer Lightening boiling away as I type). Used the small boil method, boiling 1kg of DME in 6L of water, adding the rest with 15 mins to go and then topping up to 21 or 23 L in the FV and have been very pleased with t...

Excellent advice. She's a cider drinker so may try a cider kit one I've got a stock of beer to drink.

I'm an ale drinker - will pretty much drink most of them;) my preference would be more towards black sheep and would be great to brew something similar - any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
