Beer Line Length

Trying to get my bar taps sorted they take 5/16th 8mm OD pipe I only have a couple of meters of pipe and with the pressure down about as far as it will go 4-5 psi getting quite a bit of foam. what length of 5/16th pipe do I need ? http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t526/fordpopular1/tap1_zpsvmlrbbj...

now its cooled I have broken it up and bagged it.. from 1 Kg of sugar I have ended up with almost 1Kg of candi sugar not bad just got the cleaning up to do now

Our HLT at work is fed from a CLT so by the time it is used to brew it will have been standing for at least a day

Just been and picked up a 6Kg bottle of Co2 from Dixons of westerhope price was £60 deposit and £24.90 for the gas just bring the bottle back next time and pay for the gas there are probably cheaper places out there but they are the nearest to me, very helpful and even carried the bottle to my car f...

good info from Kyle_T on cleaning we use hot caustic wash but a lot of our casks have been left outside pubs for a while and often get full of fly eggs homebrewers shouldn't have this problem if washed soon after use ..one useful tool is a shive hammer http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t526/fordpo...

plate chiller and cold break

thinking about investing in a plate chiller, ..been using an immersion chiller and cooling in the boiler where all the cold break stuff stays when I transfer to the FV
how does this work with a plate chiller, surely all the break material ends up in the FV ?
