Re: The trub from hell!
I am having the same problem today, again a new sack of Crisp malt from the Malt Miller, all was fine till I tried to runoff from the boiler to the fermenting buckets just a trickle to start with then nothing. I have siphoned what I can from the top until I got down to the trub which looks like wall...

Re: my attempt at elderflower champagne
Tried a 2 year old bottle of this at a friends house last week and it was amazing,
the elderflowers around hear are nearly ready to pick so I will be giving this a try
did you add yeast or just rely on natural yeast?

Re: Left Over Grain
Our chicken goes nuts for it. She gets it fresh for a couple of days after a brewday then I freeze the rest in small bags. It seems a grain popsicle keeps the boredom at bay, at least if you're a chicken. good idea, I give some to my chickens and bin the rest as it goes off if left wet but will try...

Re: Today's brewday in 2 Minutes (Video)
Thanks for all the comments. I just did it as a bit of fun but was quite pleased with the end result.
The brewday was about 4 hours long and the timelapse part of the video is about 500 photographs 30 seconds apart then joined together as a video
Cheers
Paul.
