Re: Cornie conversion with cask widge float
I have used parts from the cask widge, just the tube and float in a corny and it worked very well ....sometimes while cleaning casks at work I occasionally find them left inside the cask, think I have 3 now

Re: Beer Gun or counter pressure filler
I have seen a few DIY CP fillers which look simple enough to make and will probably go down that route, I do like the look of the Pegas thing a real one looks expensive but found this on Aliexpress maybe worth a punt http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Stainless-steel-304-homebrew-beer-Bottle-fill-beer-t...

Beer Gun or counter pressure filler
I would like to bottle from my kegs and have been looking at beer guns and CP fillers would a CP filler be better than a beer gun as it seals the bottle and equalises the pressure keeping foaming down or is that overkill ..or is it just a case of keeping everything cold and using a beer gun ?

Re: Pumping beer from fermenter?
should be fine, so long as the pump and hoses are sterilised first.... at work we move beer from fermenters to conditioning tanks and transport tanks with a pump its the only way.

Re: Cask Filling from the Fermentor
not for casks as they are filled to the brim we also fill 1000 liter tanks to go off for bottling which are purged with CO2 first as there is a small amount of head space left
